PCOS

PCOS (Polycystic Ovarian Syndrome) is a syndrome that manifests with facial hair growth, irregular periods, and (sometimes) cysts on your ovaries. You can have the syndrome even if you do not have cysts on your ovaries. It can also lead to insulin resistance, weight gain, difficulty in losing weight, hair loss and mood changes. PEPTIDE THERAPY

Peptides are short chains of amino acids, which are the building blocks of proteins. PELLET THERAPY

Pellets offer another medium for males and females to receive hormones during perimenopause, menopause, and andropause. The pellets used are high-quality and custom-compounded with bioidentical hormones, and they provide a consistent release of hormones. When hormones are out of balance, hormone replacement therapy may help relieve a wide array of symptoms, both physical and emotional. Within two to four weeks of a pellet insertion, the hormone therapy can start alleviating unwanted symptoms. Bioidentical hormone replacement therapy aims to relieve the source of the problem, not just the symptoms themselves. 

HORMONE REPLACEMENT FOR WOMEN

Hormone therapy for women has been a common practice to cope with aging for decades. Bioidentical hormones can help women through multiple stages of life including perimenopause, menopause, and post-menopause. HRT in women can be given in several forms (typically creams and pellets) and several different types of hormones can be used based on the patient’s health and desires (testosterone alone, testosterone and estragon, or testosterone, estragon, and progesterone). Female hormone replacement therapy may help women who are suffering from unbalanced hormones which can manifest as: hot flashes, night sweats, sleep issues, depression, anxiety, irritability, fatigue, vaginal dryness, decreased sex drive, difficulty or increased urination, joint pain, brain fog, hair thinning, hair loss, weight gain, or dry skin.

For decades, hormone therapy for men has been a common practice to address the symptoms of aging. Male bioidentical hormone replacement therapy may help men feel like themselves again. It may also help men who have always suffered from unbalanced hormones feel better for the first time. HRT in men can be given in several forms (creams, pellets, injections). Male hormone replacement may also help men who are suffering from unbalanced hormones which can manifest as: night sweats, sleep issues, increased need for sleep, depression, anxiety, irritability, fatigue, decreased muscle mass, erectile dysfunction, decreased sex drive, difficulty or increased urination, joint pain, brain fog, hair thinning or loss, weight gain, increased belly fat, or dry skin.

COMPREHENSIVE GUT TESTING

We use the GI MAP test which is a comprehensive stool test that utilizes qPCR technology to detect H pylori, parasites, bacteria, fungi, and more, allowing practitioners to create personalized treatment protocols to address gut dysfunction. This test also looks at the leaky gut marker zonulin. Test includes an appointment for review and recommendations.

IV AND INJECTABLE VITAMIN THERAPY

Poor gut health can lead to vitamin deficiencies due to malabsorption. While we support you in healing your gut, we offer vitamin injections and IV’s to provide you with the vitamins you need to maintain your energy. HYPOTHYROIDISM

Hypothyroidism (underactive thyroid) is a condition in which your thyroid gland does not produce enough of certain crucial hormones. Symptoms can manifest in a variety of different ways, however, some common symptoms include constipation, fatigue, dry skin, swelling, and difficulty managing weight.

THYROID NODULES

FNA biopsy is a procedure in which a small needle is used to extract cells from a thyroid nodule in order to diagnose a benign thyroid condition vs thyroid cancer. This very common procedure is performed in the outpatient setting at our office without sedation or the need for a driver after the procedure. Downtime is typically about 3-5 minutes post procedure only.
